Legendary stoner rock act The Melvins will be quite busy through the rest of the year. July 8 sees the release of the band's latest album, Nude With Boots, on Ipecac. The album was recorded in Los Angeles. Nude With Boots finds King Buzzo and Dale Crover joined by Coady Willis and Jared Warren of Big Business, as was the case with the last Melvins album, 2006's (A) Senile Animal. The two bands will tour together extensively in July and August. Before that, The Melvins will make an appearance at a 50th birthday bash for Jello Biafra in San Francisco (sans Big Business). And later this year, the band will co-curate (with Mike Patton) ATP's Nightmare Before Christmas festival in England.
