Megafaun Releasing Self-Titled Album In September
The three guys of Durham, N.C.'s Megafaun don't mess around when it comes to churning out new material. They must have immediately got to work on their forthcoming record, Megafaun, immediately after dropping last year's great Heretofore, which we called their "most effortless, assured work to date." With that in mind, the self-titled record should only expand and build upon what we have heard thus far, right? We're hopeful. The self-titled album is said to feature the band at their most ambitious as they blend styles including stripped-down rock, instrumental free jazz, and melancholy blues. Sounds good to us, dudes.
