Call it a match made in sorta garage rock heaven: The Detroit News is rporting that White Stripes drummer Meg White is getting married to Jackson Smith, son of Patti Smith and late MC5 guitarist Fred Smith, on May 22 in Nashville. Jackson Smith is the guitarist for Back in Spades, along with being born to punk rock's power couple. White was previously married to her White Stripes bandmate Jack White. [via Spinner]
