Meek Mill’s ‘Dreams & Nightmares’ Debuts At No. 2 On Billboard 200

Last week, Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city  entered the Billboard 200 at the No. 2 spot, and now another of rap’s most high profile debut albums of the year has hit the heights of the charts. Selling 167,085 first-week copies—not quite the 175-200K it was projected—Meek Mill‘s Dreams & Nightmares also debuts at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. That isn’t all Meek and Kendrick have in common; both were bested by Taylor Swift’s Red LP, which added another 331,311 copies this week to its original 1.2 million-plus opening week sales. Talk about being a thorn in one’s backside. [HDD]
