Despite what several sites on the internet have reported, MC Hammer is not dead.
Sources close to Hammer told TMZ that people are confusing the rapper-turned-minister with a gentleman who shares his given name, Stanley Burrell.
He of the baggy parachute pants is, in fact, alive and well and about to launch a new web site called DanceJam, where Hammer will judge videos of people dancing. Hammer, himself got his start dancing for baseball fans as a bat/ball boy for the A'''s in his native Oakland, CA.
Please Hammer, don'''t hurt 'em.

Hammer was an amazing dancer.People always talk about U Can't Touch This, but I think 2 Legit 2 Quit was pretty great too. |

Between this rumor and Fiascogate the Hammerman has been in the news a lot lately. I remember as a kid I made a whole side of a tape that was just "U Can't Touch This". 30 minutes of that song. Awesome.
