Maxwell Expected to Top Billboard Chart Next Week

So apparently people were really pining for a new Maxwell album: Billboard is reporting that the R&B singer's BLACKsummer's Night (his first album in eight (!) years) is expected to be the number one album in the country when charts are released next week, predicted to move 275,000-325,000 albums. Maxwell's album might not be the best selling album in the country though; it could be Michael Jackson's week again, as no one knows how long the surge in Jackson sales will last. Just goes to show though, apparently people still love their neo-soul. [Billboard]

I'm so happy for Maxwell...his comeback definitely deserves good sales. Has anyone heard about that song On The Ocean by K'Jon...it kinda gives me that Maxwell vibe. Check out his music @ www.myspace.com/whoiskjon
