Maxell makes iPod accessories like ear-bud headphones. M&M's are a chocolate candy that fits well in kids' noses and ears. Which makes them both ripe for an awkward cross-promotion, as Maxell has announced these new ear-bud headphones that look just like M&M's, and are packaged like them too.

I can't imagine there's a huge market for these-- they need to appeal to people wholike headphones, but also really, really want to show off their junk food allegiance through said headphones. Me, I'm holding out for Cinnabon stereo headphones. [Gizmodo]
