If the highest form of praise you can receive in Germany is to be given your very own brand of beer -- and I'm fairly certain that it is -- then Mastodon have finally arrived. The band were in the country to play the German Sonicsphere festival and to imbibe Mastodon Premium Lager, a limited edition beer created by Stephan Michel of Mahr’s Bräu brewery. Only 200 beers were created, and Metal Hammer reports that the band and crew managed to put away quite a few bottles.
