Oh for the days when Axl Rose only challenged people to get in the ring. Mastodon singer Brent Hinds suffered a broken nose, two black eyes, and a brain hemorrhage (that's right, a brain hemorrhage) after getting into an altercation with System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian and friend William Hudson. No charges have been filed in the incident, though Odajian has been listed as a witness and Hudson a "possible suspect" in the case. A publicist for Mastodon stated that Hinds is focusing on writing and putting the incident behind him. It doesn't really sound like the kind of thing I'd want to dwell on either.
