Try not to get the band Maserati confused with the band Trans Am. That would be easy to do, since both bands are named after sports cars and ply an up-tempo instrumental rock sound. One way to tell the two apart is that, while Trans Am is not currently out on the road, Maserati is. Maserati kicked off a tour in support of their recently released album, Inventions for the New Season, last night at Chelsea's in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
