Temporary Residence art rockers Maserati have completed a new album. Entitled Inventions for the New Season, it's currently available elsewhere around the world and gets a U.S. release date on June 19. A new addition to the band and album was Gerhardt Fuchs on drums, who has also pounded the skins for the likes of !!! and LCD Soundsystem. The band recorded the album in their hometown of Athens, GA with long-time associate Andy Baker. Reports have the album as a loud, instrumental rock affair, not unlike the sounds of label mate Explosions in the Sky.
