Maroon 5 touring with...the Hives?
Today is all about the odd pairings. Feather-light pop band Maroon 5 have plucked up Swedish garage rockers The Hives as the opening band for their upcoming tour. Which means The Hives will be further delaying finishing up the long-awaited follow-up to 2004's Tyrannosaurus Hives. Here's hoping some backstage beef flares up and Pelle Almqvist hits that smarmy Adam Levine character straight in the face. Do it for me, Pelle. Do it for all of us.
