Guitar virtuoso Marnie Stern must be doing something right. After sending a demo out to Kill Rock Stars on a whim, she finds herself signed to the venerable indie rock label, with her debut album, In Advance of the Broken Arm, set for release February 20, 2007. The album consists of songs that Stern wrote in her bedroom over the past few years,with Hella's Zach Hill contributing behind both the kit and the soundboard.
