Mark David Chapman Denied Parole For The 7th Time

NPR is reporting that Mark David Chapman, the shooter responsible for murdering John Lennon outside of his apartment building in Manhattan in 1980, has been denied parole for the seventh time. 

As he's known officially in prison, "New York State Corrections inmate No. 81A3860" is currently incarcerated in the Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, NY near Buffalo. 

Two years ago, we reported the copy of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's album Double Fantasy that Chapman asked Lennon to sign hours before the murder was up for sale for $850,000. An interview with Dave Sholin that was conducted the afternoon of the murder is below. [DS]
