Prefix folkie fave Marissa Nadler embarks on a new U.S. tour tonight. She'll be recording at certain stops with an eye towards piecing together a live album. Her current album, Songs III: Birds on the Water, will see a U.S. release August 7 via Kemado. Not to brag about how much great music there is night after night here in L.A., but when Nadler plays here at the Hotel Cafe she'll be on a bill that includes Great Lakes Swimmers, Eleni Mandell, and Ferraby Lionheart. Wow, that's a folk awesomeness overload.
