Marissa Nadler Daytrotter Session

The beautiful and beautifully-voiced Marissa Nadler is the latest artist to have a signature Session up over at indie music site Daytrotter. You can access it here. Nadler puts in three songs from her latest album Songs III: Bird on the Water: "Sylvia," "Diamond Heart," and "Honey Bear." Also included is one new, unreleased tune, "Salutations in the Dark." Go for the music; skip everything else. I usually think the cartoon renderings of the artists that go along with these Sessions are cutesy, but the one of Nadler makes her look like a mentally challenged horse. And the lengthy intro essay will interest only those with a peculiar fetish for the particulars of interstate travel.
