Marilyn Manson Weeps After Being Denied His Drug Fix

Earlier this week, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor lashed out at his former friend Marilyn Manson by saying: "Seeing him now, drugs and alcohol now rule his life and he's become a dopey clown.” With impeccable timing, Manson has given an oddball interview to a British tabloid, which appears to affirm Reznor’s words.

Manson shows up three hours late for the interview and says with mock theatricality: “Are you sure you want to ride in the car? It could be very dangerous." Manson claims to be “acting” during the interview, and says he isn’t heartbroken by his recent romantic woes. “No - wallet broken,” he quips.

When asked if he has cried recently, Manson says: "About two hours ago Steve [his tour manager] wouldn't get me any drugs. My eyes watered. Then he asks me if I am OK! It's ridiculous. It should be, 'Here's the mirror - and now are you OK?’” Reznor claims that Manson used to “pretended to be fucked up a lot when he wasn't,” and it’s possible that act has surfaced again here, especially as he has a new album, The High End of Low, to promote.

"Drugs Are Good" Great song by NoFx. I'm a huge Manson fan. He is always treated negatively in the media. Trent should look in the mirror only losers quit the industry. Manson is gonna keep going like Ozzy /and or the Rolling Stones. A lot of people can do drugs and alcohol and it doesn't control their lives. Manson is one of a kind. I don't care if he likes to get high. It's a norm. It's not taboo.

geez I feel bad for him, what happened to him? His latest album is great and I've yet to hear anything on the radio, big surprise. Is he really being forgotten? I don't have a single friend who really likes him as much as me, and some of them have never heard of him! But they're all over brain dead crap

reznor was complaining that manson diddnt do so many drugs back in the day but does now, then you go on to say maybe the act has resurfaced? youre a moron nick neyland. and manson is clearly just being a joker through the entire interview. "im acting right now, acting an a**hole"
