Marco Polo & Ayatollah Discuss Producing, Crate Digging, and Name Origins

To further promote their respective releases, New York City-based producers Marco Polo, who originally hails from Toronto, and Ayatollah linked up for the above brief interview. They both reveal a slew of information, including the fact that Ayatollah gave Marco Polo his producer name when he first moved to New York. Although it's not said, apparently Polo's previous name was, as he said, wack. Unfortunately we'll never get a chance to hear it ourselves as he said it's something he's taking to the grave. They then move on to why they choose to use MPCs when they craft their dusty, crunchy beats along with how they make sure to find time to go diggin' in the crates.
