Manson Confirms Garbage Will Reunite For Album, Possible Tour

Shirley Manson confirmed in a recent interview that Garbage is working on its fifth studio album and discussing a tour in 2011. The band essentially ceased to exist when Manson left to work on a still-unreleased solo album. She then dabbled in acting, appearing memorably as urinal-transforming T-1001 in Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Details are sketchy at this point, but Manson went on to say that the band is "winging it right now," and has recorded material that is "hard to quantify." Garbage's last album, Bleed Like Me, was released in 2005. [NME]

This is one reunion I don't have much of a problem with. I always thought they got more interesting with each successive album, except for that last one. A tour would be nice.
