Major League Lacrosse Fires Back At Jay Z

While a lot of sports fans are waiting to see what will happen with Donald Sterling and the NBA, Major League Lacrosse has its own issues to deal with.

In the new DJ Khaled song, "They Don't Love You No More," Jay Z says: "haters wanna ball, let me tighten up my drawstring/wrong sport, boy, you know you soft as a lacrosse team," but the problem with this line is lacrosse is actually a pretty tough sport. Just as the league itself.

"Lacrosse is often called the fastest sport on two feet. Players are on the field dodging and shooting balls at over 100 miles per hour," said a spokesperson of the MLL. In a statement sent to MTV News, the message went on to say "with that said we don't think Jay Z knows what he talking about...".

To finish off, the statement offers a challenge to Jay Z, saying "Mr. Carter would not last one minute on a lacrosse field during a match and he is more than welcome to come to any of our games and try."

Here is a little video of the biggest lacrosse hits from 2013.
