Major Lazer’s highly anticipated sophomore album has gotten a delay, and it’s a big one. Instead of the previously scheduled November 6 release dates, Free the Universe will now hit stores more than three months later on February 19.
The follow-up to 2009’s Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do is set to feature guest spots from the likes of Ezra Koenig, Amber Coffman, Wyclef Jean, Bruno Mars, Tyga, Dev and Shaggy. When the album does comes out it’ll be via Downtown Records and will have Diplo, not Switch, as the sole producer. [CoS]
