After piquing the internet's interest with a couple of baroque mp3s, the pop classicists of Magic Kids are finally releasing a full-length. It's called Memphis, and it's coming out on August 24th--just in time to close out the summer in grand, orchestral style. Appropriately enough, the album was recorded at the Memphis studio of Doug Easley, where more than one act has gone to casually record a pop masterpiece (see: Pavement, Modest Mouse). If lead mp3 "Summer" is any indication, the Kids may have crafted something pretty damn special themselves.
