Madonna Announces North American Tour

Madonna has immediately capitalized on the hype generated by her Super Bowl appearance by announcing a North American tour. Unconfirmed reports state that the singer is furious following that incident with M.I.A. during the half-time show, but so far it’s only dubious tabloid sources spreading the news of her discontent.

Promo duties for the forthcoming MDNA will begin in earnest when Madonna takes to the stage at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Aug. 28, on a tour that stretches until late November. Presumably M.I.A. won’t be along for the ride, although there are likely to be plenty of headline grabbing theatrics in store.
