Madlib Releasing 12-Part, Six-LP Series

Madlib, who I refer to as "the producer who never sleeps," is dropping a 12-part, six-LP series starting next month. According to Stones Throw, the Madlib Medicine Show will offer a slew of new productions, remixes, beat tapes, mixtapes of funk and soul, and a whole lot more. The project kicks off with Before The Verdict, which so far sounds like one hell of a gift for this coming holiday season. This first volume is also meant to be a prelude of sorts to the Madlib/Guilty Simpson collaboration album, titled OJ Simpson (the name is a clever mix of "Guilty Simpson" and Madlib's given name, Otis Jackson Jr.).
