Just in time for folks to miss his gravelly, earnest croon, M. Ward is coming through for the fans. On Feb. 17 2009 Ward will release Hold Time, the follow up to his much feted 2006 release, Post-War. Will it be so easy for Ward to go this one alone, after he's seen the obvious appeal that lady-vocals can add to a track? Apparently not, cause this album features spots from the Lucinda Williams as well as (surprise, surprise) his She & Him partner Zooey Deschanel. Other guests include Tom Hagerman of DeVotchka and ex-Grandaddy Jason Lytle.
