M For Montreal Announces 2011 Lineup

The official lineup for the sixth year of Montreal's M for Montreal festival was announced this morning, and there are some big names this year. M83, Cadence Weapon, Active Child, Karkwa, and Random Recipe will be hitting the stage during the festival's four days.

In case you're not familiar, M for Montreal is a boutique festival, in the mold of England's Great Escape, that aims to bring more attention to Montreal artists. They've expanded in recent years to give shine to Canadian artists in general, and also bands that would appeal to Francophiles (like M83, for instance). The festival goes down Nov. 16-19, and we'll be there to report on it. The full lineup is below:
