The litigation concerns "Fiascogate," a fairly silly combination of honest mistakes and unflinching cockiness surrounding Fiasco and A Tribe Called Quest. Lupe asserts that Vibe took comments he made about Tribe long before his flubbed VH1 tribute performance and printed them out of context, thereby furthering anti-Lupe sentiments currently festering on the internet. The short on story on Fiascogate: Lupe has never heard Midnight Mauraders, and isn't afraid to talk about it. Usually the borrowing of a record alleviates this kind situation.
