Earlier this year, Lupe Fiasco expressed his displeasure at President Obama and was roundly condemned in the hip-hop community. He stated that he wouldn't be voting for the President come November with a memorable quote: “In my fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America."
Noted entertainer DL Hughley hasn't taken too nicely to Fiasco's controversial comments. He was especially upset that Fiasco won't be voting at all this election cycle. “He’s bright as hell, but dumb in the ways of the world,” Hughley told Hot 93.7 in Hartford, Connecticut. “Young black men are going to listen to him. They are the ones who have decisions made for them, [decisions] that they are not even involved in, which is silly to me.”
Now Fiasco has hit back via a series of tweets. He's challenging Hughley to help him make a difference not through politics but with inner-city programs:
Better yet @realdlhughley you put up 50k and I'll put up 50k and let's flesh out some programs for rural & inner city youths our damn selves

He also offered this quotable assessment of the November election:
Obama need swing states and white people not radical rappers kissing his ass to win this election..
