Duluth slowcore trio, Low, has finally settled on a name for its forthcoming album. Frontman Alan Sparhawk had recently told Pitchfork that the album would be called The Violet Path, but according to Sub Pop, the album's title is now Drums and Guns. Probably a little more fitting seeing as, according to Sparhawk, the album is "all about killing."There isn't a wealth of information available concerning the album as of yet. It's set for release March 20, 2007 and will supposedly feature looped vocals and drum machines quite prominently. Unfortunately there's no official tracklist at the moment, but some songs that are supposed to appear on the album include: "Murderer," "Violent Past," "Pretty People" and "Hatchet."
