There really isn't any other news that wasn't in the last update, so I'll just leave it at that. I'm a huge Low fan, but I always thought "Murderer" was some old, rare song of theirs because I saw them do it earlier this year and then Sparkhawk did it at a crazy solo gig of his at Spaceland last year. The song is amazing.

murderer is a pretty old rare song and it's also a totally amazing song. i'm v. happy about this.

[...] Apparently the boys over at Stereogum have their hands on an advance copy of Low’s upcoming Drums and Guns. (Mine must have gotten lost in the mail, right, Mr. Sparhawk?). The site has plenty of praise for the album. At various points, the adjectives “awesome,” “fantastic,” and “great” are all employed. And it’s hinted that super producer Dave Fridmann is keeping the dervishes a little less whirling this time, good to hear since one of the main complaints about The Great Destroyer was that it was overcooked.
