Apparently the boys over at Stereogum have their hands on an advance copy of Low's upcoming Drums and Guns. (Mine must have gotten lost in the mail, right, Mr. Sparhawk?). The site has plenty of praise for the album: At various points, the adjectives "awesome," "fantastic" and "great" are all employed. And it's hinted that super-producer Dave Fridmann is keeping the dervishes a little less whirling this time--good to hear, since one of the main complaints about The Great Destroyer was that it was overcooked.
Drums and Guns drops March 20 on Sub Pop, with touring to follow. Slowcore superfans, get jazzed.
