We would have expected the soft-spoken drummer/producer to go with a design that wasn't so in-your-face, but these shoes actually don't look that bad, and that 'fro silhouette on the heel is dope. ?uestlove says the shoes are "an extension of his personality"; we think, at least, that he met his goal of making "a very loud statement, a sneaker that sort of has 12 exclamation points behind it." The shoes are in stores in New York (Alife), Philadelphia (Ubiq) and Los Angeles (Montalban) and will be in select Nike stores come August 16.
