For those of you who are also in love with Louis C.K.'s crass, offensive, awkward sense of humor (and his amazing red beard), today is a good day. FX announced at the Summer TCA Press Tour this past weekend that it was renewing C.K.'s beloved series "Louie," for a 13-episode fourth season.
According to FX's president and general manager John Landgraf, "There are not enough superlatives in the English language to bestow on "Louie" or the work Louis C.K. is doing. With this series, he has changed the form and is doing truly groundbreaking, landmark work that is inspiring a whole new generation of artists. Simply put, he is making one of the best shows anywhere on television."
Well said, sir. The current season of "Louie" will end with a one-hour finale airing on September 27.
