Leave it to a little charity work to bring the indie community together. An L.A.-based design firm called Option-G has enticed the likes of Sebadoh/Dinosaur Jr. axeman Lou Barlow, Portland firebrands The Thermals and Montreal minimalists The Handsome Furs to design limited-edition t-shirts that will benefit a charity handpicked by each act.
The Thermals have chosen Planned Parenthood, while Barlow's designed T (pictured) will benefit Autism Speaks and Handsome Furs' creation will help out Stupini Kids. The t-shirts are available here, where you can also check out previous handiwork from artists like Flea as well as members of Ladytron and Grandaddy.
