Look Out For A New Pete Doherty Record

It’s a safe bet to expect a new release from Pete Doherty in the near future. The singer recently told NME he had passed early versions of 12 tracks on to producer Adem Hilmi to start work on the record. The album will be a proper Pete Doherty solo release, not a Babyshambles album, and will follow up 2009’s Grace/Wastelands. The record is slated to come out on EMI, as Doherty jokes (?), “I keep getting told that we’re under obligation to fulfill the contract with EMI, so we’re looking to put a new album together.” [NME]
