Loney, Dear has more tour dates

Sub Popping Swede singer-songwriter Loney, Dear (aka Emil Svanangen) has some American appearances scheduled in upcoming months. To get a taste of what he's like live, you can listen to an opening appearance he recently put in for labelmates Low that NPR covered. And if you're a huge fan of Low and haven't listened to their NPR-broadcasted show yet, you're really missing out. They pull out some amazing older material, like "The Plan" from The Curtain Hits the Cast. If that's not one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful songs ever written, I don't know what is.
Loney, Dear dates after the jump...
5/26 George, WA - Sasquatch!
5/29 San Francisco, CA - The Independent
5/30 Los Angeles, CA - The Troubadour
6/5 Boston, MA - Paradise
6/7 New York, NY - Webster Hall
6/8 Philadelphia, PA - Theatre of Living Arts
6/9 Washington, DC - Black Cat

Thanks for reminding me to listen to this Low show. I just pulled out Long Division over the weekend; I forgot how much I liked that one. I didn't listen to the Loney, Dear bit. Worth it?

Haven't listened to the Loney, Dear either. But again, the Low is great. For the encore they start taking requests. They do "In Metal," but without the touching baby coos.I don't think they've ever made a bad album. Great Destroyer was spotty, but its highs outweigh its lows.
