LOL Boys Announce Hiatus, Solo Endeavors Forthcoming

Some bad news for fan’s of LA-via-Montreal production team the LOL Boys: the group, made up of Jerome Potter and Markus Garcia, has decided to take a hiatus. After releasing a bunch of material on labels like Friends of Friends and Discobelle, the duo will drop its last project (for now) as LOL Boys with the Changes remix EP; we heard Shlohmo’s rework of the track not long ago.

Not all hope is lost, though: as Jerome LOL, Potter will continue to put out music, and Garcia also reportedly has some material on the way. In a Facebook post on LOL Boys’ page, they did post a link to 13 tracks from a recent mix they made for the Fader. You can go here to download, and check below for the group’s parting message. As a token of our gratitude here is a link to all of the Edits from the Fader Mix. Our final release will be a Remix EP of “Changes” coming out soon. Be on the look out for Markus’ solo project soon.
