Liz Phair Wants To Work With Ryan Adams On Her Next Album

Over her nearly 20-year career, Liz Phair has become a musical chameleon. Having just worked with Slumdog Millionaire composer A.R. Rahman for a song on soundtrack to the upcoming Chris Pine-Elizabeth Banks drama People Like Us, the singer has her eyes on her next project.

In an interview with Stereogum, Phair says she wants none other than Ryan Adams to produce it.

“I want to make a kickass record,” Phair told the website. “And if I have my way I’ll have Ryan Adams produce it and we’ll do some down and dirty shit with great songwriting, and it won’t be Guyville, but it will be authentic. And I’ll tour it. I’ll tour the shit out of that shit.”

This could be a collaboration that could yield some interest results to say the least.
