Here's the latest on the developing saga that is Live Earth, the Al Gore-spearheaded global concert series to raise awareness for environmental issues. After snippy D.C. politics got the North American installment thrown out of the U.S. capitol, Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey has been settled on for a location. Artists of interest added to that bill since last we reported include Kanye West, the Smashing Pumpkins, the Police, and Ludacris. Bands now confirmed for the London installment at Wembley Stadium include the Beastie Boys, Madonna, and Razorlight.
