It's not that Little Dragon didn't find success with their solid, self-titled debut after it dropped in 2007. It's just that 2009's Machine Dreams, their more synth-heavy sophomore effort, catapulted their name that much higher upon its release. Along with plenty of critical acclaim -- even if I personally preferred their jazzier debut -- the Swedes were noticed by the Damon Albarn, who scooped them up for the Gorillaz's Plastic Beach and a subsequent tour. Now, we have received news that Little Dragon is dropping its third album, Ritual Union, in either April or May. That's all we know so far, though, so your guess is as good as ours on what it will actually sound like. Will they get jazzy again or retain the heavily electronic sound? We'll see.
