Listen To Two New Burial Tracks: "Street Halo" And "Stolen Dog"
Yesterday we were applauding Burial for keeping his new project under wraps so close to its street date, and then his Hyperdub label boss Kode9 went and played a couple of the songs on the radio last night. These two Soundcloud rips are taken straight from that broadcast on Benji B’s Radio 1 show, which you can listen to it full via this link. At first glance, “Street Halo” is pitched at a faster tempo than most Burial output to date, although “Stolen Dog” is much more recognizable as the late-night post-club dubstep sound that we’ve become accustomed to from him. One aspect that hasn’t changed throughout is his ability to build an incredible atmosphere, with both these tracks soaked in tension. Let’s hope a full-length follow up to Untrue is in the works in the near future.

I hope to god that there is a new album underway soon. Stolen Dog is absolutely amazing. I am so thankful to see a new 12" come out Monday!
