Listen To Paul Banks' "Summertime Is Coming"

Today Matador Records is releasing a new EP from Interpol frontman Paul Banks called Julian Plenty Lives... that features two originals plus covers of Frank Sinatra, J Dilla, and Harold Faltermeyer songs. One of the original cuts on the EP is "Summertime Is Coming"--not necessarily a song title we'd normally associate with the brooding Mr. Banks, but its driving beauty is effective nonetheless.  Take a listen below and download over at Matador's website.

Also, Matador has intimated that the aforementioned full-length solo album from Banks will be due this fall, a.k.a. Paul Banks/Interpol listening weather.
