It's been quite the week (and a half) of Prince homage. Maya Rudolph recently covered His Purplesness' salacious single, "Darling Nikki" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and totally nailed his sensual "oohs" and "aahs."
And today, Muse shares with the world its hard-hitting, customized rendition of His Royal Badness' "Sign o' the Times," on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. Like they do with most projects, Matt Bellamy and company take the original song and make it their own. The guitar riffs are crunching, aggressive, and completely Muse-esque, and Bellamy's voice is as distinguishable as ever. The tune, which has made its way into recent setlists, was one of many songs the trio performed at the Lounge as it gears up to release its upcoming album, The 2nd Law, on October 2.
