
On July 17, avant-popster John Maus will release the self-explantory A Collection of Rarities and Previously Unreleased Material, spanning all of the previous decade. Label Ribbon Music has already unleashed a fewtracks from the compilation, and today comes one more.
"Bennington" is from 2007, or another planet, depending on your view. Maus is resolutely heartsick on the track, missing the girl from the titular place while a lonely beat throbs beneath.
A Collection... is limited to 3000 copies worldwide, and the extra-special translucent pink vinyl version is fast running out. Also, Maus has a number of tour dates this summer, including one with Dan Deacon. Check out those along with the song below.
