Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is ramping up his presence as a DJ these days. Just last week, he joined the likes of Jamie xx, Caribou, and Lone for a live DJ set at London's Boiler Room venue. It was part of a celebration surrounding the release of Radiohead's remix album, TKOL RMX 1234567. And Yorke looked to continue the celebration this afternoon with a similar set on BBC Radio 6.
This time, he offered up a two-hour mix featuring music that "is inspiring him right now." Said music comes from acts like J Dilla, Erykah Badu, Burial, and many others. While most of the tracks were previously released, Yorke also played an exclusive "club" version of Jamie xx's remix of "Bloom." Pretty awesome. You can stream the mix at BBC Radio 6. [CoS]
