A few weeks ago Larry King sat down with westcoast rapper The Game. During that conversation, he admitted that he has not spoken to 50 Cent in eight years even though The Game returned to Interscope Records (the same label as 50 Cent) to create his last two albums. In addition, he admitted that he was the first to participate in a gun shoot out outside of Hot 97 radio station back in 2005—which began the notorious beef with the renowned Queens rapper and G-Unit founder.
But, on October 9th 2013, The Game sat down with DJ Skee on his SkeeTV YouTube Channel and said that he would be open to re-uniting with 50 Cent and G-Unit “…because [The Game] has a family to feed.” Strange enough, The Game released a new mixtape this week entitled O.K.E. (Operation Kill Everything) which has a bonus track called “Hollywood.” On “Hollywood”—as if his interest in the G-Unit comeback never happened—The Game takes a shot at 50 Cent: “Hub city, thugs with me, buck 50/ Reunite with G-Unit? B*tch, f*ck 50.”
Does this actually mean that the eight year beef is still on? Or is this just a desperate need for attention? We’ll let you decide.
