Listen: Mexican Summer/Software Release Compilation Featuring Oneohtrix Point Never, Peaking Lights, Light Asylum

The Brooklyn-based Software label, set up as an offshoot from Mexican Summer and run by Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) and Joel Ford (Ford & Lopatin), has quickly built up a reputation. Now, the two labels have combined to produce a free sampler, featuring work by Light Asylum, Oneohtrix Point Never, Peaking Lights and Carlos Giffoni. Adrian Sherwood’s On-U Sound remix of Peaking Lights’ “Tiger Eyes” is worth the (free) price of admission alone, but there’s plenty of other high quality work to check out here. The album is titled Slash Rituals and is streaming in full below. [via Dummy]
