Listen: Madlib Remixes Raekwon, AZ, Inspectah Deck
As we previously reported, Madlib will finally close out his 12-part Medicine Show series at the end of the month with a remix compilation, Raw Medicine. It's set to feature more than an hour's worth of music and 30-plus tracks. Here, we have three of the tracks, two of which are seamlessly blended by the blunted producer/DJ. The two-in-one cut features an expectedly fuzzy blend of Inspectah Deck's "Speak Real Words" and Raekwon's "Fire Water," which are from 7L & Esoteric and Big Pun tunes, respectively. And while we're certainly feeling that remix, it's Madlib's dusty take on AZ's "Never Change" that has really caught our attention. Just hit play and you'll see what I mean.
