Listen: Kid Cudi's Rock Band, WZRD, Lead Single "Brake"
When Kid Cudirevealed his rock band's newest name, W Z R D, he also noted that we would be hearing a new single made for booty shakin'. But now that said track, "Brake," has finally hit the web, it definitely doesn't sound like the type of track too many people would dance to in the traditional sense. This is some psych/stoner-rock, swaying-type-shit that finds Cudder mumbling and sing-song-ing his way through the verses. That might seem like a terrible combination to some of you, but it actually kind of works thanks to Dot Da Genius' strong production and guitar sounds. Stream the track below.
