Kanye West just seems incapable of jumping the gun on his own schedule this week. Yesterday, Pusha T let it slip that West's G.O.O.D. Friday project was coming back with a song featuring the two of them, plus Big Sean and 2 Chainz, called "Mercy." It was later that night that the new West track "Theraflu" dropped and today, "Mercy" found its way onto the Internet a day early.
It's a radio rip, of course, with lots of tagging over the cough syrup chorus, and no one really kills this grind beat that seems more appropriate for Wakka Flocka than Yeezy, but between this and the aforementioned "Theraflu" it's more evidence that West is more interested with expanding his repertoire of sounds than with staying on his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy style. For now, you can check it out below, though it's likely to get pulled from SoundCloud post-haste. Thankfully, the track is supposed to show up on iTunes later tonight.
